Some diners note that during peak times, the service can slow down, which can impact the overall dining experience. Others mention the occasional presence of wasps near the outdoor seating, which can be a bit uncomfortable. A historical criticism regarding the upkeep of the building has been transformed into praise with recent renovations, but some diners have lingering memories of those past experiences. Noise levels can also rise during busy hours, potentially detracting from the serene atmosphere that many seek.
What a lovely location next to the River Thames. Warm friendly atmosphere and good food at sensible prices. All 3 courses we had were well presented delicious and good sized. Would definitely visit again.
We had previously visited and were disappointed with the upkeep on the building. Went today and what a transformation. The place was clean and very upmarket. The staff were very polite and attentive to us. The good was lovely and relatively inexpensive considering portion size. The overall experience was delightful and the food was delicious and well presented. If I could give 6 stars, I would.
If you are looking for a place for having some sip, close to the River and still not too expensive, you dont have to look further. Quiet, nice people... I recommend.
Wow! Beautiful views and lovely fresh food! Service was great! Perfect for a nice Sunday lunch
No words can describe the beauty and kindest
This place used to be great but had been going down hill rapidity. However, we decided to give it another go and it really was excellent. The food has improved dramatically and was really very good. The service was friendly and professional. A week ago I would have told you to avoid but now I'd highly recommend, we'll certainly be going back soon.
Very good standard of food and plentiful. Average prices, wine good value for this standard of restaurant. Not a fan of 12.5% service charge, this should be discretionary .
